Ines KATEB is an Associate Professor of Accounting at Umm Al-Qura University (Saudi Arabia) and a permanent faculty member at ISCAE, Manouba University (Tunisia), where she earned her PhD in Accounting. Her research focuses on corporate governance, sustainability reporting, and Islamic finance.
She is a member of the LIGUE research laboratory and serves on the editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals such as the International Journal of Digitalization and Applied Management (IJDAM) and Frontiers of International Management Science (FIMS). She also acts as a guest editor and reviewer for several top-ranked journals, including International Journal of Emerging Markets, Business Strategy and the Environment, and Managerial Auditing Journal. Her work has been published in leading journals indexed in the CABS Academic Journal Guide, ABDC, Scopus, and the Web of Science, such as Corporate Governance, Social Responsibility Journal, International Journal of Accounting & Information Management, and International Journal of Disclosure and Governance. She regularly presents her research at international conferences in Tunisia, France, and beyond.
Her recent projects explore the role of audit and CSR committees in shaping ESG outcomes in emerging markets, the impact of Shariah governance on financial discipline in Islamic banking, and how institutional governance frameworks influence the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in corporate strategies.
